**IMPORTANT: This is a full-time, contract, remote job opportunity, but will need the candidate to work in Bangalore.
Talking Totem is a boutique management and business services consultancy that works with some of the fastest growing startups and SMEs in North America, Western Europe, and ANZ regions. We're hiring an experienced business intelligence and data analyst who will be responsible for setting up and managing the different sources of company data and for supporting the business teams in providing insightful reports to drive business decisions for our clients.
This position is fully remote, but requires the candidate to be based in India, preferably Bangalore. The position requires interaction with international teams so excellent communication is a must.

What you'll do
- Identify and organize different sources of data into one centralized data visualization system
- Set up and manage Domo for our organization
- Become quickly proficient with different systems we use from a data and reporting standpoint (ERP, CRM, F&A, SaaS application, payroll, and others)
- Create dashboards, standard and customized reports for different teams
- Work closely with the product teams in generating insights on user behavior
- Understand business problems and articulate potential solutions using Domo while interacting with business users to understand new functional and reporting requirements
- Assist and support in the design, build and deployment of dashboards and reports with Domo
- Participate in the analysis and design of new reporting needs by applying sound data visualization practices
- Troubleshoot issues relating to desired outcomes with Domo and help to monitor ongoing performance of dashboards
What success in this role looks like
- We have the data we need to drive business decisions, on-time, every-time and in a format that is easy to understand
- We have useful insights into how our customers use our application and can use these insights to drive product development
Must have
- 3-4 years- experience working with, and including managing the deployment of Domo or similar products (PowerBi, Tableau) to deliver solutions
- Experience in other BI and Data Visualization tools advantageous
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of logical and physical data modelling concepts and their differences
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements through to technical solutions
- Passionate about solving problems and finding innovative data and analytics solutions
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Good to have
- Working knowledge in R and Python
- Create and provide data analysis solutions using open source tools (R/Python/SQL)
