Job Description
The ideal candidate will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle. They should be confident with building new client relationship and maintaining existing ones. They should have evidence of strong skills and possess good negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with prospective clients
- Maintain consistent contact with existing clients
- Manage sales pipeline
- Provide 1:1 career coaching to learners online regarding their job search
- Respond promptly and supportively to student career concerns and questions via email
- Stay up to date on current trends in technical/data science hiring and job search tactics
- Track outcomes of coaching calls via our Program counsellor Dashboard, providing detailed notes and information that evaluate risk factors, track success, and predict future performance
- Escalate students of concern to the Career Services Manager for additional coaching or intervention plans
- Collaborate with the Employer Relationship Manager to recommend students for job openings and share information about employability
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to breakdown one’s career ambition into actionable steps one can follow
- A good understanding of the recruitment process in different types of companies
- Awareness of industry trends in data science or technology
- Strong sense of empathy, positive outlook and ability to motivate others
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Ability to follow-up diligently on tasks
