Content moderators play an integral role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for social media users. The primary role of a content moderator is to modify the data and content according to the topics , identify, classify, annotate, and label predetermined user-submitted online content, as well as review project guidelines and specifications for the purpose of providing client with the necessary feedback on process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Review content and ensure that community guidelines are met while upholding a high standard of accuracy and quality
- Participate in regular debriefings and meetings to discuss edge cases and updated guidelines
- Meet/exceed set performance indicators defined by the client
- Adept at social media language and slang
- Advance familiarity with current and developing social media trends and other popular culture references, particularly in the U.S. scene
- High levels of social and cultural awareness
- Highly detail oriented
- Ability to make quick, educated decisions
- Comfortability reviewing overly sensitive and potentially harmful content, i.e. pornography and hateful content
- Flexibility to meet changing deadlines and client requirements
- Access to a computer
- Dedicated and private home workspace
- Reliable home internet
Preferred
- Experience in data labeling and annotation will be a plus
- Proficiency in language (Portuguese) required.
- Proven oral and written communication skills.
