The Creative Strategist plays a key role in driving the overall strategy for our Graphers, leading the creation of effective and imaginative ideas by partnering with content creators (Graphers) to define how their content is creatively represented on Graphy to our worldwide audience. The right candidate is a natural leader and a digitally focused idea machine that knows how to take an insight, turn it into an idea, build out an execution, and measure its performance.
At its core, the Creative Strategist role is grounded in creative with a strong understanding of how the Graphy product works. The successful candidate will marry a strong passion for entertainment and visual storytelling with a hearty curiosity for innovation and data, to define the creative strategy for titles and individual chapters - working closely with internal teams to develop assets (imagery, video, text) for touch points across the Graphy product experience.

About Us
Graphy is a new product company by Unacademy. We are disrupting the books industry by revolutionizing how books are created, shared and read. We are developing a digital platform that reinvents visual storytelling, launching into a market long-dominated by a handful of major players. Graphies will be available to experience within the immersive Graphy App, live in beta for Android & iOS.
Roles and Responsibilities: mpact and success will be based on the ability to direct and produce high quality and compelling creative, and the dexterity to work seamlessly across numerous internal and external stakeholder teams. You will be required to build and maintain close partnerships with Graphers.
Working with internal and external stakeholders to source, direct, and produce compelling imagery, video and textual assets to create iconic Graphies.
Actively participating in onboarding meetings with Graphers to introduce Graphy product and product creative.
Effectively project-managing multiple Graphy launches and future chapter launches to ensure timely and accurate development, production and delivery of creative assets.
Proactively learning about latest product innovation efforts and updating Graphers on the latest product features, tests, and initiatives.
Reviewing creatives (pages), analyzing winning trends, and determining a path for better creative to the Graphers.
Familiarity with digital media, and entertainment landscape is a plus.
Exceptional communicator - ability to inspire and influence, and dexterity in presenting to large/ diverse audiences in English.
Strategic thinker with creative flare and project management skills of creating world class creative strategy, spearheading creative direction and execution.
Innately curious, thrives on gleaning insights from data, and able to identify creative opportunities in content and translate these into sharp creative briefs.
Ability to provide concise, clear, and actionable creative feedback/ direction to Graphers.
Proactive, fast, and flexible problem-solver with superb time, resource, and stakeholder management.
Ability to interact meaningfully with people of diverse backgrounds, personalities and expertise (e.g. product engineer in Silicon Valley & creative executive in Hollywood).
Passion and curiosity towards building great product experiences for everyone.
Understand, advocate, and embody the Graphy culture and team goals.
