Employment Terms: This position is for a fixed term of 12months on the payrolls of Bayer
POSITION PURPOSE:
Contributes to payroll operations by managing a range of tasks in the areas of payroll processing, payroll accounting and related activities for the Bayer Group companies. He/she will ensure that all assigned activities are delivered within scope, schedule, budget, quality and accuracy consistently.
WHAT YOU DO:
• GL accounting and reconciliation
• Managing all tax related activities such as Income Tax/ Professional Tax, F&F, salary payments, tax perquisites, etc.
• Liaise with auditors for statutory and tax audit.
• Payroll processing, bank transactions and payments such as Salary payments, F & F Payments, Statutory payments, etc.
• Liaise with the actuary and handling the actuarial valuation process independently.
• Filing of IT returns (e-TDS) and providing Tax certificate (Form16) to employees.
• To ensure statutory compliances in all related areas.
• Suggest and work together with other functions like accounting and controlling team on various payments and schedule of GL accounting, accounting of all various expenses related to payroll.
• Managing all tax related transactions in SAP HR.
• Preparation of Remuneration of Directors and Key Managerial Personnel.
• Managing debit / credit notes for intercompany transactions.
WHO YOU ARE:
• Inter-CA (preferred) or Post-Graduation in Commerce (M.Com)
• Working knowledge of SAP-FICO, Personal taxation & Accounting experience is required
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role in finance/accounts department
• Knowledge of SAP-HR (Preferred not mandatory)
• Familiarity with general accounting principles
• Strong MS Office skills and an analytical bent of mind.
• Ability to collaborate and work with various stakeholders.
