Job description
As a Finance Manager, you will support the US and India business in all financial areas including forecasting, budgeting, analytics, and monthly reporting. For US and India, command full ownership of the income statement (from sales to profit). Reporting to CEO, you will assist and engage business partners in strategic financial initiatives where necessary, including sales forecasting and key expense savings. Help to manage our programs, that are tied to our Business Module and impact the business.
· Produce the annual budget, strategic long-range plan, monthly reporting, and ad hoc analytical support
· Yearly Audit, Financial Preparations, Annual submissions and annual submissions for both US & India accounting
· Monthly reporting to include close duties: reporting, assisting with the booking of accruals, reconciling budget and forecast variances to actual results.
· Weekly forecasting support.
· Extensive financial modelling and evaluation of business implications related to strategic initiatives and opportunities.
· Ability to develop and implement procedural improvements in operations and reporting.
· Acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of the strategies, business issues, risks and profitability opportunities for all areas of responsibility.
· General accounting and related compliance responsibilities supporting both India & US including the Audits
· Monthly revenue recognition ownership, monthly financial settlement ownership, partner engagement and data integrity ownership
· Develop new accounting processes for business changes, including system modifications
· Establish effective analytics and metrics to assess performance and identify anomalies
· Ownership of compliance with other significant processes
· Establish effective partnering relationships with Sales, HR, Operations and Recruitment
· Ongoing process simplification and automation
· Flexibility and agility to assist in other areas within Accounting as needed
