About The Role Were looking for a team lead for the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) group at Rippling. The role is to be based in San Francisco, although we are open to stellar remote candidates in other cities in the US. This is a broad new role that will report into the CFO and comes with high levels of executive visibility. The role will include ownership of the operating model, coordination of the monthly close process with Accounting, modeling of new business lines, as well as strategic and financial planning with various teams across Rippling. In addition to these responsibilities there will be ad-hoc projects and initiatives directed at supporting Ripplings current and future growth plans. What You'll Do Lead quarterly and annual strategic and financial planning discussions, which requires close coordination with key executives across R&D, S&M, and G&A functions Lead the buildout of the operating model including sales forecasts and long-range plan Provide ongoing support to specific teams in S&M and R&D as a Finance Business Partner Lead monthly close activities from the FP&A side in close coordination with Accounting Develop financial reports and analysis for the Board of Directors and Executive Team Support Rippling in the development of new product areas through business modeling Drive operational efficiencies at Rippling by spearheading system implementations and owning process improvements Qualifications Bachelors Degree in quantitative field, MBA or equivalent preferred Minimum 8 years of finance experience, ideally in operating roles at growth stage startups Relevant experience could be in investment banking, strategy consulting, private equity, corporate planning, FP&A or related fields Strong financial modeling and analysis experience with the ability to simplify complex topics SaaS industry experience in a high-growth technology company preferred Experience with SQL and Netsuite, or a similar ERP, is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required Passion for fast-paced entrepreneurial work environments
