About the job

This position requires partnering FAR Plant management team and HR team on all employee matters eg. talent acquisition of direct labour including external variable manpower planning , hiring, allocation and attrition, absenteeism management. The position is responsible for supporting the plant team in talent management, shop floor engagement, learning & development, grievance handling. The resource will work with senior HRBP in improving the IR climate and proactive union relations. The resource is also responsible for supporting all HR related audit.

• Leverage strong business knowledge and partner management team and HR team on all people-related subjects
• Lead relevant HR related projects and compliance with HR policy
• Develop solutions and supports the business to drive customer-focused innovation within HR
• Implements GDI HR programs by establishing department accountabilities
• Lead the HR program to assess, evaluate and develop the right skills in the right places across the business, facilitating strategies to fill gaps where needed
• Inspire plant management to deliver to create a high performance people culture
• Drives HR operations: recruiting direct labour , orienting, training, counseling, discipline and grievances; planning, monitoring, appraising and maintaining compensation in line with GDI HR , Asia HR and Global HR policy
• Develops HR Plan , Long Term Agreement and Wage Briefs by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
• Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications.
• Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and encouraging organization values.
• Participates in Trade Union/Works Council negotiations
• Take proactive approach to employee relation matters and develop collaborative relationships in an environment of continuous improvement and with employee involvement
• Ensure GKN corporate governance compliance
• Complies with employment legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising
  
  management on needed actions
• Assists in staff internal staff movement - transfer, promotion & resignation including conducting exit interview on all staff resignation
