Designation: Marketing Manager
(Preferably from a creative production agency)

- Location: Gurugram/Remotely
- Business/Functional Unit: Marketing
- Reports to: AVP Marketing
- Interacts with: Global Clients, Onshore Sales Team, Onshore and Offshore Account Managers, internal studio teams, finance, and third-party vendors.
- Work Timings: Will work to an agreed permanent shift, or agreed shift pattern during India, UK and/or US work hours.
Role Summary: Responsible for planning, development and implementation of all of the company marketing strategies, marketing communications. Supporting the sales team on a regular basis with sales collaterals, decks, proposals and presentations. Oversees development and implementation of marketing materials and services in the area of marketing and communications. Directs the efforts of the marketing team and coordinates at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the company.
Job Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 7 years experience in marketing with demonstrated success, preferably in the advertising industry or association sector.
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of online and offline marketing channels i.e. digital, event, email marketing channels.
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing or management preferred or a related field or a combination of education or work experience can be substituted.
- Excellent communication (written and spoken English), interpersonal skills with a natural ability to articulate. Good listening and presentation skills.
- Must be organized with a natural attention to detail, able to plan and prioritize workload with good project coordination skills and ability to manage the completion of tasks within a set timeline.
- Ideally a self-motivated, process-driven individual able to deal with rapid changes in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong creative, strategic, analytical and personal sales skills
- Must be proactively client service focused.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of a comprehensive marketing, program that will enhance the Organization’s image and position within the marketplace and facilitate internal and external communications; and.
- Ensure articulation of the Organization's desired image and position, assure consistent communication of image and position throughout the Organization, and assure communication of image and position to all constituencies, both internal and external.
- Responsible for the achievement of marketing mission, goals and financial objectives. Ensure that evaluation systems are in place related to these goals and objectives.
- Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing program and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance.
- Develop, implement and monitor systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the marketing function.
- Develop and maintain a strategic perspective based on marketplace and constituent needs and satisfaction in organizational direction, program and services, and decision-making
- Ensure the overall health and vitality of the Organization.
- Ensure effective management within the marketing function, with provision for succession.
- Design, support and oversee cross-functional teams throughout the Organization.
- Providing direction and resources, removing barriers and helping develop people’s skills; articulating expectations and clarifying roles and relationships.
- Work with Sales Team to identify client success stories and to create appropriate case studies and collaterals
- Create content for corporate marketing collaterals, website/blog/social media, and other initiatives.
- Provide assistance on press releases, contributed articles, presentations, events, and conferences.
- Create effective, compelling positioning, messaging, and sales tools that are understood.
- Stays abreast of market trends to drive topics for client webinar and whitepaper strategies
- Create sales-ready tools, including market-facing presentation content to be used by Sales to highlight benefits of our services to our clients.
- Execute marketing campaigns and analyze performance that leverage behavioral interest profiling to drive new client acquisition & sales revenue
- Responsible for all aspects of projects, including: meeting deadlines, time management, contingency planning, approval channels and procedures, budgeting, campaign analysis, and tracking / monitoring procedures
- Establish and articulate project scope, strategy and objectives to internal clients, production team and key leadership.
- Manage creative production of online and offline marketing assets, graphic design, video production and web development, from the initial concept to finished product and execution.
- Conduct marketing surveys on current and new service concepts.
- Understand the services offering and approach of key competitors; communicate the services differentiation to sales and provide input to senior leadership.
