Youngman India Private Limited is India’s largest national construction tools and equipment rental company operating in 15 major cities. The company manufactures, imports and sells construction related products into the Indian market. The company has a modern factory using cutting edge welding technology, robots and lasers with the capacity to develop further market leading product ranges. The Company operates at multiple levels and channels to address a variety of customers from D2C, B2B and B2C.
The company has significant growth plans over the next 5 years. The vision for the organization is to become a significant leading manufacturer of engineered aluminium and composites products for the construction, events and aircraft and defence sectors in India.
About the role:
This integral position is responsible for leading all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing marketing and communications strategies. Key responsibilities include:
Brand Custodian:
- As a brand guardian, you will be building the company’s brand and maintaining brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications.
- Define a comprehensive short-term and long-term brand building strategies - including the setting of style guides, brand guidelines, brand vision and value proposition for short as well as long term.
- Benchmark company’s brand value and present regular progress on a periodic basis.
- Prepare and monitor the marketing/brand building budget on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely.
- Create and manage promotional collateral to establish and maintain product branding.
Strategic Marketing:
- Develop strategies (short-term & long-term) and tactics to get the word out about the company and drive qualified traffic to our front door.
- Calibrate company’s ongoing marketing initiatives.
- Define marketing KPIs.
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.
- Conceptualize and design promotional materials.
- Analyse consumer behaviour and adjust email and advertising efforts accordingly Public.
Outreach & Engagement:
- Conceptualize & deploy successful marketing & outreach campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution.
- Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis.
- Produce valuable and engaging content for the website and blog (social media handle) that attracts and converts our target groups.
- Takeover ongoing outreach efforts (newsletter, social media campaign, webinars, white paper, etc.) and work upon it.
Online sales channels:
- Own the sales of company products on all e-commerce portals and be responsible for hitting aggressive targets
- Own the forecasting, demand planning and sales quota for the online sales.
- Drive the digital campaigns (A/B testing, create bundles and promotions, drive traffic/conversions, etc)
- Partner with company stakeholders in Channel Marketing to identify content needs to create a best-in-class product presence online
- Collect product data and content from team members in other functions and locations as well as assisting in the development of new best in class content
- Become the go-to resource for online product content among Channel Marketing and Sales Teams
- Monitor online retail in relevant product categories and overall, for insights on competitive activity, emerging opportunities, and best in class approaches
Requirements:
1. At least 4 yrs+ demonstrable experience in digital marketing.
2. Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate.
3. Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
4. Solid experience in organizing digital (social media, webinars, virtual events, etc.) and physical (magazine articles and other off-line campaigns) campaigns.
5. Super comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
