Part-Time Android Developer

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications in Android platform Integrating third-party libraries and APIs.
• Working with remote data via REST APIs and JSON Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features Deliver robust applications ensuring high performance by conducting end to end testing Generate documentations.
• Work remotely using VPN or from Office premise as required and adjust to flexible timing

Required Skills:

• Sound knowledge in Android Application Development Life cycle
• Proficient in Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Must be familiar with Eclipse/Android Studio IDE
• Experience in using version control systems like Git and Subversion and Project management tools.
• Experience in Web Service/Back-end integration
• Exposure to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi communication Integrating Analytics and Social Media into Apps.
• Unit-test code for robustness of the Application.
• Knowledge of Android Wear(Watch) development will be advantageous
• Knowledge on Cross platform Application development frameworks like Cordova will be a plus

Important Note: Candidates who are located in Dakshina Kannada or nearby cities are preferred.
