Required Skills:
- Candidates from Lifestyle background only
- Master’s degree from Tier I/II college
- 17-22 years of sales experience where the candidate should have extensively worked in dealer or distribution Network.
- Should have prior work experience in the geography/cluster he/she is applying for
- Must be able to understand and speak the local language
- Team Handling Experience.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide category leadership for the portfolio(s) assigned, within the geographic region assigned.
- Develop deep buyer, market and category level insights and partner with various teams, to drive the sustainable and profitable growth of Udaan
- Drive planning & execution of category and subcategory level business plans for the month, quarter, and year.
- Ensure the achievement of targets set, and an optimal portfolio mix to ensure profitability.
- Drive Numeric & Weighted Distribution coverage as per plans, ensuring the acquisition of new buyers onto the platform, as well as their repeat monthly purchase behavior
- Managing Dealer Network in the assigned territory.
- Territory penetration by adding new dealers / retailers.
- Driving Secondary Sales for the assigned territory.
- Managing retailer Relation and ensuring the brands gets the placement and visibility in the stores.
- SIS Expansion.
- Negotiating Commercial Terms and payment collections.
- Secondary Sales Forecasting & assortment planning
- Seasonal Planning & executions of Orders
- Capture a higher category share of wallet by influencing enabling factors like fit-to-market selection and pricing on platform, adequate credit assignment, multi-level engagement
- Plan and successfully drive the execution of all cyclical marketing inputs, new launches, DTR brand and private label launches, and all other key initiatives
- Set stretch goals for self and team, and drive execution to actualize the same
- Ensure the regular and productive deployment of a right-sized team (FOS, RLs) to ensure effective buyer coverage and execution of all other deliverables
- Drive the people development agenda, in terms of setting up people for success by providing them the right foundation to deliver on the the expectations of their roles, and also create the right on-the-job coaching framework to raise their level of performance
