Deloitte India for their Financial Risk Advisory Practice, is now seeking for Reporting and Analytics professional on contract basis (8 Months)
Location : Mumbai
Notice period : Immediate/ 15 Days
Key Responsibilities
· Ensure diligent application of target operating model in the team i.e. accurate and timely delivery of reports/analysis, and strict monitoring of the same through application of supervisory framework
· Ensure diligent application of Controls and Governance framework i.e. on time logging of errors and gaps, supervisory review and up to date documentation
· Partner with business stakeholders, finance functions in onshore locations to design reports, and provide value added analysis to facilitate fact based decision making, and communicate concisely and meaningfully the business information
· Publish accurate and timely daily/weekly/monthly reports; ensure reports are thoroughly checked for data integrity/quality using consistent methodology across key metrics
· Support ad hoc financial analysis request by business stakeholders, finance functions in Onshore. Entails highlighting key wins/ areas of focus for the business supplemented by commentaries substantiating the data, providing more transparency on the financial gaps and drivers around different dimensions such as costs/clients/products/markets
· Co-ordinate with platform teams to flag data gaps if any and follow through to resolution
· Drive the innovation by streamlining book of work, and identifying new efficiency opportunities. Constantly revisit book of work to identify opportunities in aligning the same with business/divisional strategies
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance; Fundamental understanding of finance concepts
2. Candidate should have 12-15 years of experience in MIS Reporting, Finance, and Budgeting etc. along with managing team of at least size 10
3. Proficiency in MS Excel, Advance Excel and MS PowerPoint
4. Growth mindset with strong focus on Control and Governance
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to interface with Management
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
· Knowledge of Private Banking business
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
· Progressive experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, QlikView etc; and reporting packages such as business objects
