Core Responsibilities
- Overall financial planning processes, including
- Business planning (short and long-term financial plans)
- Monthly reporting
- Estimates process (Initial, Detailed & Monthly)
- Setting financial direction, providing financial insights to business decisions to facilitate trade-off discussions & impact business performance
- Driving action as needed against gaps in financial performance, and other business improvement opportunities
- Driving evaluation of investment decisions, and prioritization of resource allocation within India, with a view towards the overall LEGO objectives
- Business case validation

The SFM acts as the main Finance Business Partner for India market, based in Mumbai. The Business Partnering function includes business planning, management reporting, financial planning and analysis, and decision making evaluations. The SFM will also be part of the India Business Unit Leadership team, proactively co-owning & following up on the key priorities.
Do you have what it takes?
- At least Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, Business or Finance
- At least 8 years working experience, preferably in a FMCG company
- Excellent accounting, finance and business understanding
- A strong sense of Ethics ensuring the compliance agenda is never compromised
- Ability to think end-to-end and to cope with ambiguity
- Positive and “can-do” attitude
- Able to frame strategy and complexity for effective discussions and resolutions
- Ability to function in “dual hats” (finance & business)
- Highly self-motivated, high-potential performers who can influence stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal capabilities, and a commitment to excellence and integrity
- Highly independent yet interdependent team-player and valued team contributor
- SAP and BW expirience
- Demonstrated experience in providing insights and creating impact to organization & stakeholder
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Aptitude and willingness to learn
- IT savvy (excel, BW, PowerBI a plus)
- 10 – 15 travel days
