Job Overview
The role is required to perform the following functions:
- Perform production, analysis and reporting of the daily trading Profit and Loss (P&L) by understanding trading strategies, risk profile, market conditions and accounting treatments
- Validation of the trade details of all trading positions. This includes review of booking, valuation and revenue recognition
- Perform Month end controls and post adjustments to ensure Financial Reporting has integrity and in in line with the management information (MI) sent to front office
- Involvement in tactical and strategic projects looking to enhance data flows and implement strategic systems and processes going forwards
- Involved in process improvement initiatives looking to synergize across similar entities and use innovative technologies to optimize, automate or eliminate processes
To Qualify, You Must Have
- Work experience of 3+ years in Financial industry
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Focused on attention to detail
- Basic understanding of financial products
- Understanding of Product Control processes
- Strong analytical skills and ability to define and apply logical approach to issue resolution
