ABOUT THE JOB
· Lead the training of RLMT program landing in China ensuring a successful implementation of trainings (based on program master calendar / global guidelines / annual RA training calendar) which support RLMTs to enhance consumer experience as well as reaching sustainable sales and profitability targets across all reltated cities.
· Create and manage the RLMT training budget as well as an annual plan of all RLMT training activities to ensure the effective implementation.
· Responsible on a monthly base update meeting with stakeholders as well as compiling monthly reports to RLMT committee highlighting success and challenges.
· Delivers and manage state-of-the-art trainings:
o Guide and enable and related Buddy/Store manager (SM) /Area Manager (AM) who are envloved in RLMT program, so they can successfully implement the "Discover" training concept and in-store coaching.
o Organize and conduct individual and group trainings to the RLMTs within the learning journey as defined in the frame of RA, including SM management development programs where required and act as a role model to all RA related things.
o Set up on the job training to follow up on trainings delivered.
o Monitor, measure and report on all training activities and achivements with agreed formats and time frames as well as secure a proper follow-up on trainings by analyzing effectiveness of training initiatives/programs, reguarley reviewing return of training programs as well as retrieving feedback from retail team to increase training quality.
· Work cross-functionally for an effective implementation:
o Partner and regular work alongside HR, Regional/Area Sales Managers and Store Managers and retail staff, role modelling, best practice, selling & service & leadership excellence across the related cities in China.
o Provide timely feedback during and after interventions to Senior National Retail Academy Manager and secure proper hand- over of the action plan follow-up.
o Participate and support Senior National Retail Academy on Global/Local projects when requested.
· Use and interpret KPI's of RLMT program measurement and analyze pre- vs post-training situations together with the DM/SM’s and HR and define actions where required. On a need base and when the identified cause for low performance, provide targeted support and coaching to the RLMTs.
· Support the Sales Team and HR in campus recruitment for selection, as well as identifying talents to define hi-po RLMTs and where needed work with HR/Sales team on the preparation of the Talent Review and Succession Planning (TRSP).
· Secure good communication flow with the Global teams and key stakeholders across local organization. Provide feedback as well as any other ideas to central/RLMT program committee on any improvement areas. Ensure relevant information is cascaded to sales team and there is a continuous feedback loop to RLMTs’ development plan to drive their high performance and sustainable leadership.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a motivated talent, who brings along the following background:
· Minimum of 3+ years in a similar position and/or 5+ years in a retail leadership position
· Proven Project management skils
· Business acumen: ability to use insight of the organization’s internal and the external business environment to improve the training effectiveness that affect business unit performance
· Didactic and strong presentation skills: ability to adjust presentation style to suit the audience & levels of the business
· Strong emotional/social intelligence
· Audience management: ability to engage the audience using different approaches in order to maximize knowledge retention
· Results driven: abiltiy to take steps personally to ensure that mutual goals and performance target are met within the appropriate timeframe
· Analytical skills: ability to link analyze KPIs and to generate insights on training interventions
· Follow-through: ability to bring started activities to an end
· Influencing skills: able to convince, persuade and influence others to make decisions and take action
· Personal development role model takes responsibility for their own development and continually strives to drive improvements
· Coaching skills: ability to coach (nice to have)
· Local language and English proficiency skills as B2/C1
· Willingness to travel in the assigned area up to 30% of working time
